Getting dressed can be a daunting task but it really shouldn’t be. Getting dressed with purpose helps in this department.
In this episode, I’m in conversation with image and style expert Shaquanna Chappelle and discussed what getting dressed with a purpose really means.
Shaquanna Chappelle is an Image & Style Expert who transforms the way professional women view their style so they can show up with confidence. She has helped dozens of women break out of their comfort zone, identify their unique style, and create confident and bold looks. Women who have worked with Shaquanna have gained an extra boost of confidence when climbing the corporate ladder, negotiating deals, and securing speaking engagements for high profile conferences.
Through her enlightening and relatable book, Get Up and Get Dressed, Shaquanna helps women remove any self-consciousness towards their style and learn how to “get dressed” in the fullness of God first.
Get Dressed with Purpose
In this episode we covered…
- When Shaquanna fell in love with style and when she discover that she was good at styling others
- What made her write her first book “Get Up and Get Dressed”
- The lessons Shaquanna learned after going through the writing and publishing process
- What it means for women to get dressed with purpose in God’s image
- How you can develop style confidence
- Common myths about women’s style
- How to take your own measurements, which she covers in the video below
Shaquanna is so fly! I just love her style and her approach to educating others about style. Style can be intimidating, but hopefully Shaquanna is able to get you excited about getting up and getting dressed, especially now that you know how to get dressed with purpose.
