Skincare and wellness are popular topics these days for obvious reasons. We all want nice skin and to be healthy, even if our actions don’t always align with our intentions. However, rarely are skincare and wellness explored through the lens of purpose.
In this episode of the podcast, I had the pleasure of learning one woman’s journey to purpose through skincare and wellness.

Dr. Brittney Dayne is a native of Memphis, TN and earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy with honors from Florida A&M University in 2010. Her passion for health and wellness led her to a successful career in pharmacy, and she also became a licensed esthetician before developing a line of natural skincare products. The RYT Skincare (Reveal Your Truth®) is a wellness brand with a mission to bridge the gap between beauty and true wellness for lifetime results.
Her love for wellness was also the catalyst for her drive to become a professional athlete in the IFBB Pro League (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness). In her earlier years, she was a classically trained ballerina so, genetically, she was always thin. “As an adult, I wanted to gain weight, but without jeopardizing my health. So, if I was going to build curves, I realized I needed to build muscles.”
Dr. Dayne excelled in her fitness career, and qualified for the Olympia, which is the most prestigious fitness industry showcase in the world. In 2020, Dr. Dayne made history and is now the first black doctor to become a Bikini Olympian. “I am honored and grateful to be representation for black women that aim to achieve the highest standards within their professional and personal lives. We are all capable of doing hard things and excelling against all odds.”
Brittney currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with her husband and her primary focus is building her brand for RYT Skincare and encouraging everyone to honor yourself, live authentically, and “Reveal Your Truth.” She mixes skincare and wellness beautifully.
