What Are Toxic Relationships and How to Shed Them

Sometimes taking care of yourself means shedding dead weight from toxic relationships. You may be wondering, “well, what are toxic relationships and how do they impact me and my purpose?”

A large number of people are constrained and imprisoned by their relationships. This can turn into a barrier to purpose. Some are constantly belittled by their parents, others are manipulated by spouses, and some experience gaslighting from friends. This isn’t how our relationships are supposed to operate.

In this episode, I had the opportunity to chat with Samantha and we really got into the nitty-gritty of toxic relationships.

Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor mental health expert that teaches women of color to break free from toxic relationships to heal past trauma, rediscover who they are, and live a life they desire.

She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals in healing their traumatic experiences through her individual sessions, groups, and products. She specializes in the areas of trauma, toxic relationship recovery, codependency, and low self-esteem.

Samantha uses her years of study and personal experience to assist others in boundary-setting, healing, and thriving within themselves and their relationships.
