The 2024 presidential election is right around the corner, and I think it’s safe to say that this one’s going to be a bit interesting. The stakes are high all the way around, and the outcome will have a profound impact on the future of our nation in more ways than one.
One thing I’ve noticed about national elections is that an overwhelming amount of us vote for a particular candidate for the wrong reasons. We tend to vote for a candidate based on how they align with the things that matter most to us. This isn’t at all how we should choose the president of a nation.
You’re probably looking at me like I lost it, but I promise you I haven’t. Stick with me. God has ALWAYS had a plan for nations. We see nations first appear in Genesis 10 with Noah’s lineage after the flood. In the old testament, God reveals to us how He sees different nations of the world and even tribes within those nations—what they are known for, which land He gives them.
Later, when Jesus gave us the Great Commission it was actually to nations. Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of who?… all the nations…. Matthew 28:19, NKJV. God has a plan and an agenda for nations.
To think that God doesn’t have a plan for leaders of nations is a bit foolish, I think. In fact, God’s word tells us in Daniel 2:21, AMP that God removes kings and establishes kings. Another version says, “He gives power to kings, and he takes their power away.” ERV.
Why is God so invested in leaders of nations? Well, one reason is because God is invested in people. He loves mankind and one thing that God knows that we have a hard time grasping is just how much the leader of a group of people influences the spiritual makeup of those people.
If you want to influence and control the people in a nation, then you must have control of the leader and/or the government that leads the nation.

How the actions of the leader affects the sheep
I definitely don’t want you to just take my word for it. Leviticus 4:3 tells us that when the priest sins it brings guilt on the entire community. That’s serious.
Let’s look at some examples in the scriptures of just how much influence a leader had over the actions of the people and over the things that manifested in the lives of those people they led.
I think I want to start with leaders who influenced their subjects in bad ways. Up first is King Saul. 2 Samuel 21:1-14 and Joshua 9:1-25. I’m going to summarize the texts.
1) King Saul
Joshua and the Israelites were approached by a group of men who claimed to be from a far away land and they basically swindled Joshua and the Israelites into entering into a covenant with them. Many years later after Joshua enters the covenant with the Gibeonites, Saul becomes the first king of Israel and he kills the Gibeonites, which is a complete violation of the covenant.
During King David’s reign he experienced 3 consecutive years of famine and eventually asked God why. God said, it’s because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house of murders.
Because of the breach of the covenant that Saul did, the Isaraelites were experiencing drought and famine decades later.
2) King David
So, David is now the king of Israel and he has won battle after battle after battle, and scripture tells us that “the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.” 1 Chronicles 18:13, CSB
This story is recounted in 2 places. It’s in 2 Samuel 24 and in 1 Chronicles 21. Two things happened at once. The Lord’s anger burned against Israel and he stirred up David, while Satan rose up against Israel and incited David. They both provoked David to count the people of Israel. Not just any people. David wanted to know how many troops he had on deck that were of fighting age and ability who were ready to go to war.
God saw this whole thing as evil because it was a display of David’s arrogance and pride because the amount of troops had nothing to do with the size of David’s army, with David’s war strategy, or with anything pertaining to this census. But apparently, David forgot this. He forgot the truth of 1 Chronicles 18:13 which says “the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.”
David came to his senses but it was too late. God sent one of His prophets to deliver the judgment to King David and he actually let David choose out of three options. They were all bad and they all directly affected the people David ruled over. The options God gave him to choose from were a three year famine, three months of fleeing from their enemies, or a three day plague. David chose the 3 day plague and what happened as a result was more than I know he bargained for.
70,000 men ended up dying in those three days. God opened King David’s in the spirit realm and allowed him to actually see the angel standing between earth and heaven, with his drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem causing the deaths. I imagine that David was devastated seeing this because who wants to be responsible for someone dying because they wanted to stroke their ego?!
God revealed what needed to be done to lift the plague. David did it, the Lord was receptive to it, and God ended the plague on Israel. Yet and still, nearly 100,000 men died because of the actions of their nation’s ruler. Actions they probably weren’t even really aware of.
I could stop here, but we have to explore one more ruler. The ruler is King Nebuchadnezzar and this part of his story is in Daniel 3.
3) King Nebuchadnezzar
After the Israelites went into Babylonian captivity, they were ruled by King Nebuchadnezzar. One day King Nebuchadnezzar had a 90 foot tall gold statue erected and he commanded the people in the land no matter their nationality or language to bow whenever they heard the music they were to fall face down and worship the gold statue. Whoever didn’t do this would immediately be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire. So the options were, rebel against god by engaging in idol worship or die. Period. So the enemy used this king to bring an entire people group into idolatry.
In comes Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who refused to worship the statue and they were thrown in the furnace. What the enemy meant for evil ended up working out for good because God delivered those three Hebrew boys and it lead to the King being converted and issuing a decree, “that anyone of any people, nation, or language who says anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will be torn limb from limb and his house made a garbage dump. For there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.” Daniel 3:29, CSB
Because ONE man, the King, saw a miracle with his own eyes, the people in the land he led were influenced by belief or by force, to now worship the true and living God.
So we see King Nebuchadnezzar go from promoting an evil agenda, right, to being a supporter and influencer of God. Another example of a leader positively influencing the people they lead from a spiritual perspective is the King of Nineveh. This is outlined in Jonah 3.
4) The King of Nineveh
Many of us know that Jonah dodged going to Nineveh and ended up on the belly of a large fish but not many know why Jonah didn’t want to go to Nineveh in the first place.
God told Jonah to go to Nineveh to call out the people in the city for doing all kinds of evil things and to render God’s judgment against them. Nineveh was one of the first nations formed by the descendants of Noah after the flood. It later became a great city known for its wealth, power, and prestige but it was FULL of cruel, violent people. They were NOT to be played with. They would torture people, kill them, hang their bodies for everybody to see, and then paint pictures to document it—as if to say, “try me if you want to.” They were savage.
Can you imagine going to deliver judgment to those people and tell them they were about to be destroyed? Because according to logic and reasoning, all of the signs pointed to the likelihood that the Ninevites would kill Jonah for trying to check them and their behavior. What ended up happening though, was the exact opposite.
Jonah delivered the judgment of God and instead of beating him up...
…the people decided to believe the word of the Lord spoken out of Jonah’s mouth. Their belief ended up leading to the King believing and issuing a decree calling for a dry fast (no food and no water) and commanding the people to earnestly cry out to God and repent! The people did exactly that…
I laid all of this out to show that if you want to influence and control the people in a nation, spiritually and naturally, then you must have control of its leader or the government.
What’s at stake in this election
Let’s take a look at what’s at stake in this election. There are likely many things but I discerned two so I will speak on those. The Bible tells us that we know in part and we prophesy in part so I’m sure God has given more to others to share and they will fill in the other pieces for us. But in the meantime, the two things I’ll discuss today that are at stake in this election are 1) the furtherance of the agenda of the antichrist and 2) God’s impending judgment on America. If you are not in America and your country is set to elect its next leader, then this may apply to you as well.
1) The Furtherance of the Agenda of the Antichrist
Let’s start with the antichrist’s agenda. Here’s some of what we know about the antichrist based on what the scriptures say:
- The antichrist will deny Jesus. Apostle John says in 1 John 2:22, AMP, “Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed)? This is the antichrist [the enemy and antagonist of Christ], the one who denies and consistently refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son.”
- The spirit of the antichrist is here on Earth already. Apostle John tells us in 1 John 4:3, AMP that “… every spirit that does not confess Jesus [acknowledging that He has come in the flesh, but would deny any of the Son’s true nature] is not of God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is now already in the world.”
- Something else we know is part of the antichrist’s primary agenda and that is to deceive. “For many deceivers [heretics, posing as Christians] have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge and confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh (bodily form). This [person, the kind who does this] is the deceiver and the antichrist …” 2 John 7, AMP. We can also see from this text that the antichrist may even pose as Christian.
- We know that the antichrist will have a foothold in the church. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, AMP says “…the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.
- There’s one more thing I want to highlight that we can glean from the scriptures about the antichrist which is pertinent to what we are exploring here and that is the antichrist will seek to influence the government. Daniel tells us that the antichrist, “…will speak words against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most High. He will intend to change religious festivals and laws… Daniel 7:25, CSB.
- When we look at the totality of this, I think it’s safe to say that the antichrist or at a minimum, the spirit of the antichrist will come through politics in some way shape or form to facilitate its agenda. So now, more than ever probably, we have to recognize that the agenda of the antichrist is going to play out in politics and most people will not only be deceived regarding the true agenda of laws and legislation proposed but they will also be deceived about the true nature and intent of the leader proposing or supporting those laws.
So when it comes to this election, we must have our head on a swivel regarding the agenda of the candidates, which can be easily evaluated based on what they have already done. I don’t recommend listening to anything they say. Look at what they have done because both of them have been in public office. I also recommend taking a look at what legislation they support, from a spiritual lens. God highlighted two very specific things for me to tell you to evaluate them on, which I’ll mention in a bit, but let’s take a look at the other thing at stake.
1) God’s Judgment
The next thing at stake with this election from a spiritual standpoint is God’s judgment, specifically, the weight and timing of God’s judgment. God is going to judge America. In fact, God has already begun to judge America and other parts of the world. Earthquakes are happening in places they don’t typically happen. God’s word shows how God used an earthquake to judge a people in Revelation. After God resurrected his 2 witnesses/the prophets in Revelation 11 after they were murdered, they went up to heaven while their enemies watched. And at that same moment, an earthquake struck the land and killed 7000 people. It shows up again after the seven plagues are released by the angels in Revelation. All of this stuff is in the Bible. It’s all there if we just read it and become students of God’s word. God judged those people for what they did to his prophets, and soon, if we don’t do what we need to do with this election, God will judge this nation and His judgment will be swift.
This country has turned its back on God in more ways than one. We are truly living in the days of Noah. We have become lovers of pleasure and self.
“For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be [unexpected judgment].” Matthew 24:37-39, AMP
You may be thinking, well Pavielle if God is going to judge America there isn’t anything we can do about it. He’s God and He is sovereign. He can do what He wants.” This is true but what God wants is different than what He is compelled to do. God wants us to do what is right. If we do what is right, then there
This isn’t my opinion. God’s word is instructive here. There’s MANY examples of various prophets who were told in advance about the captivity of the chosen people, and they came to pass because the warnings were disregarded.
But we also see an example where God’s judgment on a nation was postponed. Remember when Jonah announced the destruction of Nineveh and the king issued the decree calling for a nationwide fast and commanding the people to earnestly cry out to God and repent! Well, the people did exactly that and Jonah 3:10, CSB tells us that “God saw their actions—that they had turned from their evil ways—so God relented from the disaster he had threatened them with. And he did not do it.”
God’s judgment on that nation was postponed because the leader of that nation called the people to repent and the people actually turned from their evil ways.
God cares about who leads nations and yes, there are candidates who God has chosen to lead. Which means that it is possible for us to elect someone that God has not chosen or who even serves the other side. In Hosea when God is lamenting about Israel and laying out the things they have done, he says, “[t]hey have installed Kings, but not through me. They have appointed leaders, but without my approval.” – Hosea 8:4a, CSB
I think now is a good time to give you the issues to research for each candidate.
Issues to Research
Ok, so, I was seeking God about which issues he wanted me to highlight in this episode for you to research and one I received immediately in a vision. The other I discerned based on the enemy’s plan and agenda for the U.S. and the world. Let’s take a look at them separately. Starting with the first which is abortion.
1) Abortion
Anytime Satan knew a deliverer was scheduled to be born, he either struck the women with baroness or he had a leader of a nation implement the government-sanctioned murder of babies. We see baroness in the life of Elizabeth who struggled to conceive John the Baptist. The birth of John the Baptist was so important that an angel of the Lord made his father mute when he doubted the word of the Lord.
We see the government-sanctioned murder of babies when Pharaoh commanded that all the newborn Israelite baby boys should be killed around the same time Moses was to be born. We see this again right after the birth of Jesus, King Herod gave orders to massacre all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under.
But what does killing babies do for satan, besides the obvious of preventing the birth of deliverers? Glad you asked. What it does is it strengthens evil altars.
The strength of an altar is determined by the size of the sacrifice. There are certain activities and agendas that empower demonic altars on a national level. I recently dived relatively deep into the way of the altar in a few episodes of the show. I highly encourage you to watch or listen to them because they are the foundation of what I’m sharing here and the information applies on a personal level as well as a national level. Altars are how we change our life and change the world.
Here’s a real high level overview of altars. An altar is a place where people engage with spirits. It serves as a gateway or a portal between the spiritual realm and the natural realm. The type of activity performed at the altar is what draws a particular spirit to that altar. The type of activity you’ll typically see happening at an altar are sacrifices, prayer, rituals, and worship. Sometimes you’ll see a combination of all of that going on at the same time. It’s important to note that there are holy altars as well as evil altars, and there are physical altars as well as invisible altars in our hearts and on our bloodline.
We as followers of Christ erect holy altars in our lives by praying, fasting, and worshiping God so that we can welcome the spirit of God into our lives for one reason or another. Well, other people do this same type of activity to welcome the presence and power of evil spirits because they want something from them. This is how evil spirits gain a foothold in a person’s life on an individual level and in the lives of people in a region or a nation. This is why certain regions are known for certain things. Chicago is known for murder because the people in that region have strengthened the altar of murder to the point where a principality of murder now sits over the region and influences the actions of the people in that region.
So let me make this statement again now that you have more context for it. The strength of an altar is determined by the size of the sacrifice. The highest forms of sacrifice are blood and life, especially the shedding of innocent blood and life. How do we know this?? We know this because of what we got when Jesus shed His innocent blood and sacrificed His life for ours. Talk about the size of sacrifice, Jesus was God! God shed His innocent blood and sacrificed his LIFE making the cross the most powerful altar and why every person born can receive the benefits of this sacrifice.
Well, what is abortion? It is the shedding of innocent blood and the sacrifice of an innocent baby’s life. This is a powerful sacrifice that strengthens the evil altar of the demon god Molech. Molech is mentioned quite a bit in scripture. You can find him in Leviticus 18:21, sprinkled throughout Leviticus 20, and in Jeremiah 32:35. So, pay attention to each candidate’s stance on abortion. Do they promote abortion? Do they carry their promotion to other countries? Do they withhold aid to countries who are anti-abortion?? If so, this is a global altar they are servicing.
Here’s an example of what this looks like. I’m gonna use President Joe Biden because he’s no longer in the race. I’m not sharing where any other candidate stands on these matters because you have to research them for yourself and I’ll share an excellent resource in a few to use for researching, but let’s look at President Biden.
For over five decades, Congress has enacted abortion-related funding restrictions in U.S. foreign assistance legislation. Back in 1985, a regulation was passed that barred US foreign aid from being used to perform or promote abortions. This regulation is known as the Mexico City policy so when you’re doing your own research searching that term will yield some good results. When this policy was in effect, it didn’t just require the recipients of federal money to abstain from using the funds for abortion related things, it also required foreign non-governmental organizations to certify that they will not “perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning” with non-U.S. funds as well. This extra requirement eliminates the appearance of using US funds for prohibited things.
Well, one of the VERY first things President Joe Biden did after he took office was to rescind that regulation. He was inaugurated on January 20, 2021 and a week later on January 28, 2021 he rescinded that regulation. He didn’t stop there though. Along with this rescission, he also restored funding to the United Nations Population Fund, which a previous US President had ended because this UN fund is alleged to support forced abortions and sterilizations in China.
When you do your own research you’ll be able to see which president ended funding to that fund. I’ll note that the UN Population Fund has denied those allegations. The year before a president terminated the funding to that UN fund, the U.S. had provided $69 million to it, which means there is a chance that the US government money was used to fund millions of dollars of abortions and forced sterilization. We don’t know.
All of this is interesting because abortion was never talked about on main politics stages. Not only is it being discussed on main political stages but this country is now sending millions of dollars to foreign nations and entities that fund abortion. Remember to ask yourself why. What is the spiritual reason they’re doing this and the answer is to strengthen a powerful evil altar.
2) The LGBTQ agenda
The other issue God highlighted for us to research each candidate’s stance on is the LGBTQIA+ agenda. Please hear me when I say this, I do not have anything against anyone in LGBTQIA+ community. They deserve to be respected and protected just like anyone else. I love members of this community just as I would anyone else.
My focus is not on the members of this community but on the spiritual implications of being a member of this community and how that affects the region and nation spiritually. This is so you can do your own research and seek God about who to vote for after considering their stance on this.
And to be clear, the Bible is clear on how God feels about this issue. So, pay attention to how each candidate views marriage between members of this community, whether government funds are being used to fund sex changes, how do they treat countries who oppose same-sex marriage, things like that.
Just in case you’re still on the fence about the spiritual implications of being a member of the LGBTQ, Apostle Chazdon Strickland spoke about the first time he did deliverance and casted out a demon from inside someone. It was on a man who practiced homosexuality.
Demonic activity is what welcomes demonic spirits/demons into our body and we now see that there is a demonic spirit of homosexuality. This is not a game. This is serious, so I encourage you to take your research seriously.
A good secondary resource that will cite to primary resources is The Pour Over. It’s a politically neutral, Christ-first news source. They aren’t as spiritually deep as what you may see in my content, but they are biblically sound which provides a great foundation. For example, where they may not say that abortion is child sacrifice they do highlight that it is against God’s word.
The Pour Over dived very briefly into each candidate’s stance on abortion laws. I linked to their article in the show notes and in the episode description. Now, I don’t know exactly why God highlighted these two issues but I do know this, both of these issues are powerful altars in the kingdom of darkness.
When darkness is prevalent in a nation, the people of that nation begin to call good evil, and evil good. This is how cities like Sodom and Gomorrah come to be. We don’t want to be Sodom and Gomorrah.
